Dr. Antonio Black

Senior Pastor

Antonio Black is the 3rd of 7 children born to Dr. Roscoe, and Lady Bessie Black. He is a life-long resident of Florence, SC, Graduating from West Florence High School. 

Antonio Black received his Associate of Arts in Human Services degree from Florence/ Darlington Technical College, an Associate, Bachelor, and Master of Theology From Cathedral Bible College, as well as a Doctoral degree on Divinity.

Growing up as a “PK” (Pastor’s Kid) Antonio has been involved in the work of The Church since a tender age. Choir, usher, youth ministry, musician, Sunday School teacher, janitor, and yard maintenance, etc.

In 1997, God directed Antonio to The Door of Hope Christian Church under the leadership of Bishop Michael and Pastor Malinda Blue, where he continued his service to the church and community. Antonio was licensed as a Minister in 2001, and In 2005 he was officially ordained. Antonio continued faithfully serving his Pastor and congregation as Minister of Music, Choir Director, Health and Wellness, Performing Arts, Kingdom Institute instructor, and in any other capacity that was required to meet the need.

Antonio was also privileged to serve the historic Savanna Grove Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Ralph W. Canty as the Praise and Worship leader, and musician.

As an accomplished musician and songwriter, Antonio has produced several projects. Antonio married the very lovely Regina Renee McDonald in 1998, and they are blessed with 4 lovely daughters.
